Beautiful pools and beaches

There are multiple pools and beaches along the river where you can get a nice refreshment from the heat. Its best during the week (I was completely alone there) On the weekends it is usually quite crowded.

    Paradise in the Jungle.
    Crystal clear water from a pristine jungle stream, three or four pools, each a little further into the jungle. simply awesome! And the pool at the entrance provides the chance for a three or four meter leap. It is run by the local Kichwa community and they also serve local - chicken or Tilapia Miato (both cooked inside a large leaf) - about 4-5$ and cold cerveza. In the morning you can catch a bit more sun, as it sets behind the adjacent mountains.
