Tranquil Tai Lue temple in Pua.

The approximately 250 year old temple was built by Tai Lue people evacuated from Xishuangbanna in southern China. Highlights included Tai Lue style old wooden hall decorated by many long rectangular Lanna flags (called "Tung") with principle Buddha image. Behind the Buddha images, there is an ancient mural. Also, don't forget to look for Lanna style antique wooden pulpits. Next, in a mini hall, there are Buddha images with (new) colorful paintings. Near the mini hall, there is a tiny zoo where ones can find peacocks. Moreover, by walking to the back of the temple, there is a monument of a Tai Lue king who built this temple on a green-tusk white elephant.
