Si Nan National Park, Nan Province, Thailand

4.0 (30 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Na Noi National Parks

Beautiful view point

One of the most beautiful views I've seen so far in Thailand, roads to get there are in good shape so easily reachable with a car. Can rent a room or a tent to spend the night, better stay away from the rooms if you have a problem with sharing it with insects. The tent on the other hand are better. This way you can stay in the park and enjoy a beautiful sunset and sunrise

    Good for your retreat
Si Nan National Park has 2 main areas; 1. Doi Samer Dao Most famous area and crowded during long holiday. You can take 360-degree view from Doi Samer Dao. There is camping and tent area that you can spend your great night time. 2. Pha Chu and Si Nan National Park Office This area is 3 Km far from Doi Samer Dao. Less crowded, quiet and peaceful area for person who want to take your relaxing time. You can book a house from National Park Office for your stay.

Bungalows are available in the park
While not well advertised, there are a few 3 bedroom, 2 bath bungalows available inside the park. 2 of the bedrooms share one bath, which can be awkward, and for sure there will not be enough hot water to go around. However, the beds were comfortable, and the facility spotlessly clean. If the weather cooperates, the mountain views are stunning, especially at dawn. The park is well worth a visit, but it is sufficiently remote that you should make all of your arrangements for transport and lodging in Bangkok or Nan. For example, you should arrange for food in advance, or carry in your own, because restaurants are not exactly plentiful in these remote regions.
