Amazing Experience

I would 100% come here if you are looking to dive into another culture. Bird is such a great host and really fun to be around. I volunteered on his farm and through working on his land and learning about farming and permaculture, I felt such peace being there. If you are looking for beautiful scenery and looking to explore Thailand's countryside, COME HERE.

Wonderful experience of local northern Thai life!
I had a wonderful stay at the Daidib Daidee farm! Surrounded by beautiful scenery, it was a peaceful break from the hectic tourist hot-spots like Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and provided a taste of authentic local life and culture in northern Thailand. Bird and his parents were incredibly welcoming and Bird managed to squeeze in a ton of activities for me during my shorter 3 nights' stay, including a brief jungle trek, visits to a beautiful water-eroded "canyon", a waterfall, and a local Lanna-style temple, a very relaxing Thai herbal sauna, a water buffalo cart ride, and learning how to do traditional tie-dying and weaving crafts and cooking with his mom, who doesn't speak English but exudes warmth and hospitality, and we managed to get along well nonetheless! The home-cooked meals were delicious and sourced from either the farm or foraged from the jungle, and I even tried a couple new fruits. I ended up being the only guest (female) there during I believe low season but it felt safe, and the entire set-up from the bamboo hut to the outdoor shower and toilet were pleasantly clean and comfortable. They also have volunteers that come via workaway. Either way, I recommend visiting this wonderful family-run farm!
