Jesada Technik Museum, Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand

4.5 (79 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Nakhon Chai Si Speciality Museums

Hard to find location but worth the journey

Took us a while to find the place and it was totally worth it if you are a car fanatic. The sheer number of three wheels cars are unseen of. Vintage firetruck, milk vans and even a Ford Mustang. Though the place is covered, expect to sweat buckets under the sweltering heat. Given that there is no tourists, we almost have the whole place to ourselves on a weekday. A must-go!

Worth visit this car & motorcycle vintage museum
A place that definitely worth visiting where you can see lots of vintage cars and motorbikes collection at this museum. Most of the vehicles are in good conditions and it was amazing that the owner can maintain this huge fleet of vehicle at the museum without collecting any entrance fees. Proper well maintain museum and welcome drink was provided too. Transport will be a problem as there isn't any public transport. You need to carter your own transport to visit this place . GPS location as provided: N 13.8118417 E 100.1974638

    gigantic garage of vintage cars
If you are a car collector or at least love cars most specifically vintage, then this place is definitely for you. Well, it’s not only cars... there are bikes, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters & tanks. There would have been a Russian-made submarine as well but it apparently sunk while on the way to Thailand. What's amazing is that most of them are in mint condition and join exhibits & car shows. So far, there are more than 500 vehicles at this location. The museum is owned by Jesada Deshsakulrith, a businessman and the automobiles are his personal collections. According to Wikipedia he started collecting in 1997 & opened to the public in 2007. You won't miss it since there’s a 2-decker London bus and a plane positioned at the main entrance. Driving more than an hour from Bangkok to Nakhon Pathom may not be the best decision since it's not the most interesting place to see but you can package with a visit to the very famous Chedi, the Museum of Human Imagery, Sanam Chandra Palace and the Rose Garden. In our case it was a side trip on our way back from Damnoen floating market & the Samphran Elephant Zoo. Oh, did I mention that the entrance to the museum is free? Open daily from 9am to 5pm except Monday. Getting there will be a little tricky so I suggest to get a local to assist you with directions.
