Nice Museum, Nice Gardens
Lovely museum in a nice park setting. A small reptile zoo called snake park is in the same location. There are some lovely exhibitions about Kenya, pre and post-colonialism, as well as the wildlife and people of the region. Snake park is ok, kind of fun, although a bit strange that in the main enclosure all the lizards and snakes were eating each other, which was a little distressing. Nice little cafe on site with good food, also has a very reasonably priced souvenir shop I would highly recommend compared to the usual price-gouging affairs these are. A must visit really, only 1500 KSH for a foreigner with access to the Snake Park.

Informative
Always nice to visit national museums when visiting new places. This is no exception, lots of cool exhibitions, from animals to history with culture and education and everything else in between! There are some great displays and lots to see and read about, but perhaps lacks a little sequencing and cohesion. Half our group was also pounced on by someone for a show around which typically finished requiring a fee for, but such is, no biggy, just sometimes nice to explore these things at your own pace.
