Marie Baz Wax Museum, Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon

Not worth the entry fee if you are not lebanese Lebanese
The wax museum might be interesting if you are lebanese or especially interested in lebanese history. Otherwise you might as well skip it considering the entrance fee (15000 leb pounds, roughly 10 usd). The wax statue are not very successful either. If you had to choose go and visit instead the Palace of Musa which I found more special because of its extravagancy!

So Laughable That It's Great
This wax museum is housed in an old palace. The palace structure is interesting. The wax figures are old and tired. But so old and tired and often so incongruously placed that they are amusing and entertaining. Many of the figures would only be known to Lebanese, but there are enough international figures that you won't be bored. You'll long remember chuckling over the exhibits.

Expensive tickets for Nothing!
The place where the museum located is OK. It’s nice to walk around it on foot but there is no need at all to get into this museums at it only displays statues of different characters with no explanations of their contributions in crowded rooms! Add to that the entry charge is very high compared to what’s inside! No recommend unless you love historical museums pf this type!
