Amazing castle and domain

An impressive, beautiful castle located in a huge domain including gardens, monuments, park, forest, water channels, cycling routes, etc. In addition, there are a lot of things going on around the castle: exhibitions, bird shows, horse and carriage trips. One can easily spent a pleasant day (there are also some bars and restaurants) The access to the domain is free of charge. There are some parking lots (on is huge but it was still crowded), the cost was 50 Check crowns for a whole day (until midnight).

    Beautiful castle and park
    We went twice, the first time in the rain, the second when it was sunny. The gardens are very nice, and we wish we had more time to explore them when it wasn't raining. We did not see the inside of the chateau because the only tours available at all were in Czech, despite the fact that their website says they offer tours in other languages. Another problem is that they only had availability a few hours later. I recommend that you book your tour ahead of time if you can. There are restaurants nearby, and there was a parking lot that we used that charged 60 kc, but it had to be in coins, so plan accordingly. We saw lots of cyclists in the area, so it seems like a great area to tour by bicycle.

    Lednice castle
    Pretty castle and grounds. Inside was very pretty. I believe we did the apartment tour. Crazy busy as they were only open on weekends starting in October. Women selling tour tickets should know basic English as this is a big tourist spot.
