Two great muni golf courses
Don't let the fact that these are muni golf courses in Montana scare you away, they're in great shape. Both courses are great, nice mountain courses. South course has a couple of world-class lake holes, North course more traditional mountain course. I'm going to Bandon Dunes in a month, so I know what a good golf course looks like.

Great course and staff
We took a week long family trip to the area and, as everyone with us was a golfer, we decided to see if we could find a place that rents clubs and would allow us to play as a fivesome. We ended up at Whitefish Lake, Very, very nice course, but, more importantly, we were extremely impressed with the welcoming and friendly staff. Thanks to them, we had a great afternoon of golf.
