    Snowy and Showy
    We like to visit family up here for Christmas due to the picturesque setting it provides. It is often a Winter Wonderland during the winter. The lake freezes quicker than others due to elevation and relatively shallow depth. Ski Discovery is nearby and still low-key in comparison to most places, but offers slopes that are far from low-key. We always get some ice fishing in while staying in the area. We catch Kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, and brook trout although there are also other species.

    Beautiful
    My son's bucket list was to fish in Montana. We stopped here on our way to Philipsburg and the sapphire mine. Beautiful area and we hiked while he fished. (unfortunately his luck wasn't good) We saw many boats out enjoying the water.
