    Why the Rebrand?
I've been coming here since I was a kid, and 20+ years ago this was the place to go in Monroe. Frenchtown Square mall was always full of teens. They had a great arcade and a lot of food options. Every place was full with an actual store, and not someones sad excuse for re-purposing a space for other things. The best thing about this mall now is the Movie theatre, which it never used to be, the seats alone are the reason I visit this one! I live much closer to a bigger, thriving mall, but the theatre seats suck, lol. I was sad when Target finally left. Pat Catans and the Humane Society thrift store are the only reason I leave the theatre area. I will miss the days of Steve & Barrys, that was a good replacement for JCP back then. I guess they were tired of their old name, or thought it would make them seem more upscale, but a mall with 1 (maybe there were 2, overpriced cookies don't count)food place in its food court, is really pathetic. With all there is to go to now on Telegraph, Mall of Monroe won't last much longer, there is nothing on Monroe st to do.

    Some good stores still
A lot of stores have left, but there's still a few good stores. We always make sure to visit Hallmark and Pat Cartans. Love shopping at Pat Cartans, we always stop at the Humane Society of Monroe store as well. Wish more stores would return, though it probably is a matter of time before the entire mall closes.
