Excellent place for family visit

I was surprised about possibility to see and to try how to make different items of hand craft as well as there is good opportunity to buy souvenirs

very interesting about history and culture
across the street from the battle field is those small village, all in all I guess 8 small houses with people inside who work. Craftsmanship! You can visit, have a look at their work and of course you can also buy the stuff there. One thing to name in particular, the last house is a vodka distillery, where you can taste and buy shots etc. Very nice, cozy atmosphere and lot of insights what happened in Belarus back in the days.

Interesting local craft
This historical village with local craftspeople working out of individual cabins/houses is worth a visit especially if you have been to the memorial park opposite. It is pleasant to wander around and visit the workshops, the craftspeople are happy to demonstrate their skills and the goods are reasonably priced (although few have visible prices). We found the lady doing ceramic bells/plaques particularly lovely. Her goods were also priced. We bought a traditional wedding gift from here for friends getting married in the UK.
