Amazing place

I visited buluan , in magandanao , I am British so was advised how dangerous the place was. I can only speak from what I witnessed , I found the whole area beautiful and the people hospitable. I met with ibrahim magandadatu and was given a tour of his place that he is very proud of, at no time did I feel threatened in any way. It's an amazing place visit it and see!

    Sightseeing of the beautiful Lake
    One best way to reach the lake is through Koronadal City, then to Lutayan. The Lake is amazing and beautiful. Good tilapia and carps are being fished from the fresh water lake in commercial quantity without feeds.

    Peace and calm
    Touring the lake was a calming experience. Wish a could say it was like being in Halong Bay, but as I hadn't been there I couldn't make a convincing comparaison. But I think lakes evoke that kind of serenity for our frenzied souls. The only thing that I found really bothered me though was the fact that amid such beauty, the people living there seemd destitute. The bounty seems to be only available to the rich officials and their guests (me included, to my shame). So I felt guilty and not worthy to be enjoying myself amid the local people's seeming hardship. Prayers were the only thing I could give right then. But it has kept me thinking of ways to help...
