Weekend getaway
We spend our weekend here at this beautiful lake, we stayed at nice place so peaceful and quiet. There's no electricity which makes the place even better. At night the stars was so clear and you can hear the crickets that sings, lots of fireflies flying through the big trees and the bright moon that left his reflection at the lake. Dr . Alfonso, (owner where u can rent a room) was very accomodating and nice, his staff as well very nice and helpful! He really love this place and took care of it and as we can see that this place has a soul. He call it " D'timeless place " I could see how, its a very lay back lifestyle and each time you come here is to connect with nature and for yourself feel good to be away from the busy city life. He thought us a back story about this lake, such a heartwarming story and great future ahead for this lake.

Worth the time..
This Lake is about an hour drive from Valencia City proper but the travel itself is also enjoyable as it traverses trough the greeneries. Apo lake is not so large as it seems in the pictures but it is also enjoyable. There's floating nipa huts that are available for rent at around Php200 to Php300 for 2 hours. There's ropes strung across the lake which serves as guide ropes which the tourist guides uses to pull the floating nipa hut across the lake. It is also nice to swim and life vests are available. What I enjoyed most is the free fish spa, just lower your feet at the end of the raft and hold still. It is recommended to bring your own food as there's nothing available for purchase. Alcoholic beverages are also prohibited. Restrooms are available though.

This is Chill
It's very peaceful place and you will love the nature and it's very instagramable. Very cheap entrance and rent of the floating hut but not sure if there's a food available. Only few staff and the comfort room is not so good. If you want to visit you should bring your own food. The Lake and area is clean but still need imporvement.
