Nice resort, refreshing dip

Maragusan is one of the municipalities of the Compostela Valley province. A mountainous yet full of awesome mountain range, rivers, waterfalls and cliffs. The alluring sight of the early morning mist and the lush green valleys make this beautiful town another tourist destination in southeastern Mindanao. Aguacan Resort is one of the attractions to boast for. It is a cold spring so one needs only a short dip to get the refreshing coolness of the water. Unless one likes to be submerge in an ice cold water for the moment. One has to be aware of the distance and the uphill climb to reach this place. But once you are there, many natural attractions await you in Maragusan. Can bring your own food for a day picnic. The pool is from a clear, clean flowing water.

    Cold Spring
For only a minimum entrance fee ($1), one has get to enjoy the very cold pool in Aguacan. Although there is nothing much to see except lifesize animal figurines, its best come in is still its pool. There are 3 of them and good for summer.

    Second Time Around
I was with my boyfriend's family when I first went there, then a year after we traveled as a couple. Within that span of time not much has changed though they are now building concrete rooms for customers who want to stay in the night. It is a good place to dive in during summer because the water is very, super, so so cold. Its a very peaceful place good for relaxing and taking a time off the busy city. Rooms are a little pricey. I personally don't know how much is the rent for cottages. We always stay at their KUBOs. We were a group of 8 and the room we got was worth P1200 for a night. Its a bit old room. The lavatory is not working properly. There were small holes in the ceiling. When it rained, there were water dripping from those holes. Its not a place for picky people. Second time we went here, my boyfriend and I stayed at a P700 room. Its the cheapest room actually. Therewere not much to choose from. Its a better room compared to the first one we were in. What to do here? Swim. There are two pools, one for adults and one for kids. Both pools have slides but not much improved. You can also dip your feet were the Koi's and other small fishes are located to have a Foot Spa. :) There are small animal concrete figures. Cool for kids. They also have Function Halls where you can have some parties if you want. They also offer Videoke/Karaoke for 5php per song.
