Thank you, CCC for carving out this natural site for hiking, skiing and so much more. After hiking or skiing, make sure you stop by the museum for ideal background on all the native species. The small zoo is ideal for the little ones to identify species and appreciate nature. Great access for poles as well as strollers for all to enjoy!

    A Hiker's Paradise
The Blue Hills Reservation stretches 9 square miles through Milton, Quincy, Boston, and Canton. The best hiking spots are mostly on Chickatawbut Hill, accessed from the road of the same name (Chickatawbut Road). For experienced hikers, the 9-mile Skyline Trail is beautiful and affords excellent views of downtown Boston and the Seaport area. For families and those looking for a shorter hike, either hiking a part of the Skyline Trail or the red dot trail, or the 1-mile yellow dot loop near the overlook on Chickatawbut Road are your best bets.
