Been to a few bike shops, this one is good

I like that they support the local cycling community. I wasn't much into group rides when i was there, but they had their name all around town. They checked out my bike when i had a question, friendly service manager and techs. I never was fond of the sales guys, but that's how it's been at almost all bike shops. So pretentious. I'd go back to look around, but to buy a bike, i had to find a different shop that I got a better vibe from - that taught me what to look for for me specifically, fit me, trained me for group rides.

    Nice place in a nice town
    I needed a rental bike with a couple of specifics: low to the ground and low entry. The woman was quite knowledgeable and helpful. I was given a couple to ride around their parking lot, chose one, and off we went.....into the rain, which only got worse. We turned around after two blocks,my bike felt heavy, I had a flat tire! After only two blocks? Anyway, no problem for bike store;they picked up the bike, gave us credit, gave us a code so we could get the bike then next day (closed on Sunday until 11:00) Finally we had a fun 9 mile ride, then outdoor lunch at a great place. We love our stay in Midland, Michigan!!

    Free bike reflectors
    Bought my touring bike here years ago and recently broke the rear reflector. When I went to purchase another, they told me they give away reflectors since they're such an important safety feature. Didn't even ask if I'd bought the bike there. Way to go, Rays! Employees are always super friendly & helpful when I go in. Will definitely keep shopping here.
