Awesome Trail For Bike or Walk!

Beautiful. Great paved trail. Many signs to keep you informed about your location and distance to next stop. Several porta potties that were clean. You could stop at picnic areas or stop at restaurants if you wanted. We met a couple who also said there was a good ice cream stop but we did not have time!

    Nice Trail
    We enjoyed riding on the Pere Marquette Rail Trail. It is flat, smooth, and not that busy (even on a holiday weekend.) We were disappointed that we couldn't ride all the way through, due to reconstruction of the path following the devastation of last year's flooding. But we headed back to Midland, loaded the bikes in the car and traveled beyond the closure to ride more of the trail. The Solar System sculpture on the trail, starting at Coleman and going south, is quite interesting.
