Midland Area Farmers Market, Michigan, United States

4.5 (30 reviews) Tuesday: Spent Ranking #8 in Midland Flea & Street Markets

Special Farmer's Market Location

Each Wednesday and Saturday Midland has a Farmer’s Market in a nice area just off the downtown area. We decided to go even though we knew that there wouldn’t be much in the way of produce. And there wasn’t. Just off the parking area were several food trucks, several serving BBQ. A number of booths with summer plants. And a few booths selling produce. There was one selling cheese. We tasted a sample and were hooked. We bought two pieces (expensive, about $24). We looked around for something else to buy. But found little. However, our friend spied a booth selling white-fish dip and bought some for our Happy Hour. Even though there weren’t many ‘farmers’ selling produce, it was fun.

    Good Local Market
We went to this market a couple of times and it does offer a good variety of local products. It's nice because there are a number of stands that offer specialty-organic produce, breads, eggs, meats and fish. Parking is free and abundant. While you're there you can walk 5 minutes and sand in the middle of the Tridge!

    Great small town Farmer's Market
Bustling farmer's market, busiest in July through early September. Food trucks and vendors, flowers, soaps, meat and eggs, breads, cheese...lots of variety. Great location. It's right next to the Tridge, Rail Trail and downtown Main Street, plenty to do!
