Very Nice Nature Center

We enjoyed our visit to the Chippewa Nature Center. Inside were some interesting displays. Saw lots of wildlife out of the Wildlife Observation window, but nothing on the River side. Enjoyed a short walk on the Arbury trail.

    Don't miss this!!
My family came to Midland for a night to see a minor league baseball game. It was lunch time when we got to town and I had packed a picnic lunch so we ventured to the nature center in hopes of finding a spot to eat. Boy did we pick the right place!!! It is breathtaking!!!!! The shelter houses are amazing and so many spots to just park yourself and relax. After lunch we went to the visitor's center and were blown away by all of the activities and information at the center. We walked around for an hour and realized that we will need to come back next year for an extended visit because there was so much to see. We walked along the water path and came to the frontier area and enjoyed the livestock that live at the center and the old pioneer buildings. So much to see and do!! Please be sure to check this out when you visit Midland and don't skimp on your time!! Nature at it's best!!!!!

    preschool is awesome!
My daughter attended preschool here and absolutely LOVED it! If your child is and "outdoor" type of kid I can't express enough how much more they will get out of their learning by doing what they love. They teach by being outdoors for a portion of the day. My daughter still talks about it and she is now in fourth grade with all A's I might add :)
