Must visit once in life
Beautiful landscape with natural beauty. Heaven of Nepal. Flower in summer and snow in winter. Panoramic view from murma and chuchemara. 6 hours hiking from Gotijhula to Rara. I forgot all my tiredness once I saw rara. Two or three night stay may be sufficient for visitors. I enjoyed horse ride, boating, sightseeing, campfire, hiking to murma top. Find typical culture and livelihood. If you are planning by jeep you can plan for jumla (khalanga) while returning back. I have many bad experience on my first visit but It was my second visit to Rara lake and I Enjoyed a lot at @Rara Cultural Resort (Small but beautiful concept). Highly recommend for best service in area in affordable price even it was 15 minutes far from rara lake.

Dream it, achieve it.
I made a trip to Rara from Surkhet. Stayed one night at Manma. And after halfway I took another 4 wheeler vehicle (Tata Sumo) and reached Rara. There are shops around airport and exactly close to the airport entrance to stay overnight. Next day ai walk to Rara Lake. Took 2 hour to reach. Wow!! I dared to dream to reach Rara Lake. Amazing and virgin experience!!
