New management is making a strong comeback
Sad to say, this course has suffered. But now in 2022, it is under new management, and the course has improved immensely. It was still a bit rough on the edges, but the new people are doing a great job to get it back to shape. We really enjoyed our round, and we plan to get back again soon.

Buy some sand
Have been playing this course for several years. This year, 2017 I have noticed that the tee boxes are always chewed up. The worse part though, the sand traps have barely any sand in them. Maybe an inch and then hardpan underneath. If you are going to have traps on a course keep them full of sand and raked. If you can't seem to get that done, then fill them in and make them grass bunkers. A shame to see a really good golf course begin this downward spiral. It is early September. I will give them one more chance next year. No improvements....no more Timber Trace on my schedule.

Howell Varsity Hockey Golf Outing
Cannot say enough about our day today. Timber Trace was incredibly gracious and truly made this event successful. Everyone could not say enough about the condition of the course and how polite everyone in the clubhouse was. Thank you again for everything and we look forward to next years event
