First visit with more to follow!!
The campground was easy to find and getting checked in was a breeze! My wife and I stayed in a cabin and were quite pleased. It was in great condition and the mattresses were comfortable. Although it was hot outside the cross breeze inside the cabin was refreshing. The restrooms/showers were clean and BIG. Someone could arrive totally unprepared to camp and canoe/kayak and find everything needed inside of the camp store. Docking in the water at the campground was perfect. The only thing better than the details above are the owners. Friendly. Hospitable. Helpful. We will certainly visit again with a larger group to share the experience with others.

In the water and adjusted quickly! Spot on service and hospitable.
The new owners were so hospitable and helpful. First time any livery had an interest in making the seat comfortable for my trip. We rented two kayaks and they gave us the option to drop our vehicle or call when we were close to our destination and they would meet us to pick up. We chose the later and they were there within a few minutes to retrieve us and drop us right at our vehicle. The float was just as nice as we found ourselves to be the only ones on that part of the river at 4:30pm. I wish the new family all the best!

Clean Bathrooms
Clean bathrooms! We are tent campers and desired a rustic campground, not a high end RV Park. However, with 4 ladies we insist on clean flush type bathrooms (no vault toilets) and hot showers, Paddle Brave delivered. Electric outlets both 20 and 30 amp. on most sites although you might share with camp next door. Fresh water and cleaning station available. Good river access with120 feet of dock on the South fork of Au Sable river. Impressive personal attention from Managers Dave (who gave us his cell phone #) and Amanda. Owner Tom personally delivered our firewood to camp and I found him personally mopping the bathrooms. Did I say clean bathrooms?
