A Must See For Any Music Fan
The Motown Museum is a must see when visiting Detroit. It was high on my priority list when I was visiting town and it didn't disappoint. It's the original house that Berry Gordy bought in the late 1950's and used for his Motown business that produced iconic groups like The Jackson 5 and the Supremes. The tour lasts about 1-1.5 hours and gives the history of the house and how Motown came to be. If you plan on going, make sure that you reserve a spot at least a day in advance since they can't guarantee a spot for those who don't.

    Great Walk Down Memory Lane
Excellent stroll through the past and how/where the production of great music took place. Unfortunately, not enough time was granted to review certain displays as the guided tour was pushed through the building in about 45min. Information shared by the guide was quite interesting and very informative, including stuff the public didn't know at the time.
