Was a good trip
Took my son here for a visit as we had not been here in a few years and it did not disappoint. Some of the items have moved around but still good. The second floor has a lot of General Custer items.

Hidden Treasure
Great little museum full of area history and artifacts, notably the display on Gen. George Armstrong Custer. Doesn’t take your entire day to view and leaves you plenty time to visit other historic sites in the area, which is rich in military monuments and the new River Raisin National Park.

Out of the Ordinary items
The first floor has local history and the top floor has local photography, the history of Custer and war history. The local history is arrange in interesting displays. Unique items and their histories are noted in various cases. There is even an area for decoys. Every case seemed to have at least one thing that was out of the ordinary. The only thing that would have made the experience better would be a tour guide that had some interesting bits to share.
