    Amazingly original architectural masterpiece
Wonderful tours with well informed and clear speaking guides. The home is operated in a very clean and respectful method that would make the original owner Matilda Dodge Wilson proud. The tours are very reasonably priced for the time and quality of information you recieve. The guests are given all the time desired to view the rooms, exquisite detailed ceiling & wall, and original custom handmade for this home furnishings and ask questions along the tour.

    Meandering through Meadow Brook
We had a wonderful experience at Meadow Brook. Although we had planned to spend only a couple of hours, we were there for most of the day. We took two tours — the basic guided tour and the behind the scenes guided tour. Both are worthwhile. I strongly recommend taking the basic tour first. The behind the scenes tour assumes that you have information provided in the basic tour. There is also a self-guided tour option but, if you take that approach, you will miss a lot of interesting background information provided by the very knowledgeable tour guides. We enjoyed ourselves even though the scene was chaotic on the day we visited. There were half a dozen weddings and photo shoots that day. Throughout our tours, we kept running into wedding guests and folks on self-guided tours. I think that the administration over-scheduled the facility that day. Besides the house, I recommend the surrounding gardens, kids houses, and garage. Each of them enhanced our experience.
