A lot is going on during open house. Classes are open with demonstrations, Robotics competition in the Mott Center.

General Motors Inst / GMI / Kettering...now 25 yrs later
I went to school here, and completed the B.S.E.E. Program. It is quite intense. This is still a small school "where everyone knows your name" or at least, the person next to you knows someone that you do not. Many activities, not just a "geek" school. Everyone can graduate (not knock out your rival). Our motto was cooperate to graduate. Amazing that even 25 yrs later the school is just as good. What is also amazing is that 25 yrs later, the statistics (who stays, who leaves, minority, women) is about the same. Prof. were very experienced and still are, many from industry with advanced degrees. Highly recommended

Top Rated University!
This university, the former General Motors Institute, is a top rated small engineering school. The campus is very small with most of the buildings connected by tunnels. The best time to visit is during an open house when you can see the creations of the students.
