4.0Village Mall(1 review) - AN UNEXPECTED FIND Shopping Malls
Looking for the Stateline Shopping Center in Salem to shop at ALDI, I’d overshot the mark and crossed into Massachusetts. The first good place to turn around safely was at the Village Mall. It was an unexpected find. The first place that caught my eye was Ellie’s Farmhouse in the bright white building on the end of this L-shaped strip mall. The white paint made it stand out from the other businesses. Next was Dollar Tree, then China Buffet, two salons, Maya Gourmet, and a branch of Merrimack Valley Credit Union, followed by Jo-Ann Fabrics at the other end. There was also a Texas Roadhouse and a Harrows Chicken Pies location. I did go into Ellie’s Farmhouse. I looked over the restaurant and went into the Grab & Go section for a cup of decaf coffee to go. I will return to this mall for dining at Ellie’s Farmhouse and other restaurants, plus the two stores and Maya Gourmet which appeared to be a bakery.
