Great Hidden Gem
What a beautiful church. I loved seeing the rock. I wish we could have gone inside. We enjoyed walking through the cemetery. We also walked the nature trail. The well was pretty also. Worth the trip. We go back for a service on a future visit

Very Peaceful & Very Special chapel.
7/14/19 The correct spelling of this is The Sally A. Howard Memorial Chapel. It is one of the most peaceful places I have ever visited. It is so very special & sacred. You can feel the presence of God in the chapel & in the garden. I strongly recommend visiting, but please do so with great respect. A local group of people still gather & worship here every week. Don’t go if it isn’t in your nature to be respectful.

Beautiful little chapel!
We looked up this unusual building while on a daytrip to Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon. I loved that the chapel was open so you could see the rock protruding into the chapel as well and its incorporation into the altar area. This is such a neat place to stop and enjoy the silence, have a moment of contemplation, reflection, and prayer.
