A great experience
An experience like no other. The host was a great conversationalist, very welcoming and an awesome storyteller. It might have been my best museum experience. The design overall reflected the architectural style of the ksours of the region.

Charming place and museum in the desert
Said Abbou leads his guests through his charming little museum in the middle of the desert, right near the road. His life's work is the astonishingly extensive collection on Moroccan culture and the preservation of the Artesian sources and pools within the museum. His private engagement deserves support. His calligraphies are also very beautiful.I recommend a visit.

Fascinating
A large and excellently laid out museum of historical Moroccan culture built around a series of springs. Quite comprehensive in its way. There is quite a lot of outdoor walking to do in a relaxed garden so don't leave your hat in the car. The creator, Zaid Abbou is a fountain of information himself and one stands a good chance of being guided through the exhibits, or a least part of them, by him. A bit out of the way but worth making a detour to visit. A bit short on catering but if you go into the town Zaid's wife will make you a delightful lunch at their shop/restaurant in the town. Ask him when you are there.
