A wonderful hour at Mueritzer See
The day was drizzly and grey, still ideal for an hour under deck aboard one of the white boats. Panorama windows gave us a great view and protection from the chilly raindrops. Coffee, drinks and some food was available onboard. The not too enthusiastic guide was only speaking German, so we quit listening and admired the castle, buildings swans and ducks we passed on our way. Very idyllic. Ride was 10 euro per adult. Well worth the money.

A very nice activity for a sunny day !
When visiting the Mecklenburger Seeenplatte one really should make a boat trip on the lakes. We took a 3-Seeen und Kanalfahrt and enjoyed it very much. [Tip 1] It is wise to be very early at the ticket office that reminded us at the days of the GDR. There was only one small window, with only one person helping. He also did some handwriting on each ticket. We considered ourselves early, but despite a not so long row it took us almost thirty minutes to get some tickets. We had to take the next boat. This bad luck turned to luck when we discovered that we now were able to occupy some very nice deck-places. [Tip 2] It is wise to get on board the moment it arrives ! During the trip simple meals and tasty drinks are served for normal prices.

2 hour tirp is a bit borrowing
We took the 2 hour boat ride visiting 4 lakes. Prices at 21 Euro per person it is exoensive. The trip was OK, but you only see things in the first lake where Waren is located. Coming thorugh the canal to a bigger lake teher is nothing se see except trees and the brink. No birds or interesting things to look at.
