Veterans remembering Veterans
I was moved by the wonderful program and going back in time remembering my fellow Marines with whom I served in combat. I was honored and was able to honor my comrades in arms.

Nice tribute, nice park
The Veterans Memorial is small but tastefully down. It is located on 1/2 acre on a site that is basically a extra wide median with a one-way Street and curb parking on each side. The water feature and the large granite with a cut out in the middle that looks like a soldier are most impressive. A very nice touch. Because of its small size I would not expect it to be a destination trip, but if you are in the area a stop would be well worthwhile.
