Exceeded expectations!

You pay 3 CUC, which is a bit more than the average in Cuba, but you get an excellent visit. The guides are very knowledgeable, but you have to able to understand Spanish. Otherwise, just pay and go around on your own. So much to discover in what was the first pharmacy in the whole South America.

More Like an Apothecary
Did you know...Apothe = Plants AND Pharma = Drugs? This seems like a nice combination of Both. I could have spent much longer but for language barrier. Mi Culpa...I need more espanol! Beautiful Place.

Very Cool
This is an old French colonial pharmacy that was turned into am museum over 40 years ago. The hand painted French porcelain vases are stunning and the medical instruments are a step back in time.
