perfect opportunity for some R&R on the water
I love spending time on the water and this is a perfect way to do it. The cabins are very comfortable with sliding doors giving a wonderful view when you are not on deck or out on one of the smaller boats. There were elephants all over the place, it was a fantastic experience. We were only there for 2 nights but I could very easily spend much longer!

Outstanding comfort, staff, and classic Kariba wildlife and fishing trips.
There is simply no better way to explore Kariba. Taking a house boat safari may seem as if you won't get close to wildlife, but the beauty of this lake is that the waterways are lined with so many animals that you can see from the house boat as you moor close to shore, or aboard one the small tender boats that you can take fishing. Sovereign is a wonderful boat, perfectly sized to accommodate a large group. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the refreshing pool and the fishing trips on the small boat where we caught tiger fish and plenty of bream. The staff are excellent and super-friendly, and falling asleep to the gently rocking of the lake was sublime. Hopefully we will be returning for their trips between Kariba and Binga in the South!
