Good review of the Salem Witch History
Although the exhibits are rather dated, I loved the way that the story flowed around the room giving a clear cut description of the way the Witch "scare" of 1692 started and the mass hysteria associated with it. A great history lesson that somehow keeps repeating itself every so often in a new form. Everyone visiting Salem should see this at least once.

It was ok
We got the combo tour with the wax museum included so the price was $20 each. It wasn't a bad museum but it's self guided with a voice over narration. I would have much rather had a guide. You walk around to different scenes and the voice explains them all to you. I did learn a bit of history about witchcraft so there's that. The gift shop has the same type of souvenirs as all the others so nothing special. And the girl running the front hates her job. It was written all over her face so it kind of dampens the experience. Management should correct that. I wouldn't visit again but it wasn't bad for a one time visit.
