Much to do

We actually went to Pickering Wharf several times during our stay. There are several restaurants to choose from, stores we bought teas and spices, tarot reading, crafts, a sailing experience and much more. I recommend that you check on line and book some of the fun things to do in advance so you don't miss anything!

    Gorgeous and Relaxing
Absolutely gorgeous in the morning! We spent the morning at the Wharf, eating donuts and chaider (chai tea and cider) from Ministry of Donuts. Nice way to wake up before the hustle and bustle of Downtown Salem in October. Great view of the water and all of the shops in the area. Definitely recommend all of the shops!

    Quiet in Winter
Pretty quiet in winter and the tall ship has its masts removed for repair. I can see how it would be a lovely spot in summer on a nice day. Views of the water, the historic site, etc. But just average in winter with very little on the go or open.
