    A Cinematic Macabre Masterpiece!
Very, very cool experience -- I was in absolute AWE to see how spectacular the figures were. It's a museum for the cinematic macabre and I was totally here for it! I do think that the ticket price was a little steep, but I also understand that it's Salem in October and the season plays a huge economic role in substantiating bottom lines for the rest of the year when it's not as busy. I would still pay the same price to see it again because the contents is simply that spectacular. I also love that guests are asked to refrain from taking photos so that the museum contents remain a mystery for other guests.. it adds to the intrigue and I absolutely loved it!

    Count Orlocks is awesome!
On our yearly family trip to Salem this year I decided to finally have a look at the Count Orlock’s Nightmare Gallery Museum, and I was not disappointed at all! This place was legit one of the best wax museums I’ve ever visited in my travels. The tour itself is self guided and during this time of The Covid Era masks are required in the facility at all times until further notice. I only met one staff member at the front register selling tickets (I actually think he may have been the owner but I am unsure as he surely was knowledgeable and kinda gave off that “I own the place” vibe) he was quite friendly and was willing to answer any questions that I had about the museum and all things contained within. The wall of autographed photos of horror icons was really amazing and I spent almost 30 mins alone just overlooking that wall to see what signatures there were. “The Vault” was a really unique aspect to the tour and something I’ve not seen done before. With all that being said here is a few things you need to know: 1) Be sure to visit this attraction as it isn’t all that expensive and won’t break the wallet if you’re on a tight budget like we are 2) The location has a very strict No Photo/Video policy while touring the museum and the rule is enforced so be sure to leave your phone either with someone who is too scared to take the self guided tour or keep them in your pocket until you’ve exited the museum. (Hence the reason I have no photos to post with the review like I normally do) 3) Bring a friend who hates horror movies and clowns to take the tour ? 4) The place is kid friendly however i would only take them on the tour if you want them to wake you up screaming from nightmares...if you’re ok with them crawling into bed with you because they wet theirs then by all means be my guest and bring them on through. That’s all you need to know. I surely hope you take my advice and give this place a visit you will thank me later.
