A good museum
This museum is built in a lovely former French-colonial town hall. It is located in the heart of the Essaouira Medina. The museum displays a collection of items of everyday use from this region. You can see Gnaoua and Sufi musical instruments, regional rugs and carved wooden pieces. You can also see Jewish, Berber and Muslim dresses and ritualistic items. In addition to the permanent exhibits you can see temporary exhibitions too. This museum is closed on Tuesdays.

Not Sure What I Took Away from the Visit
Small. No English (French and Arabic only). No photos allowed. $7 per person is pricey for this place. Hard to understand what the exhibits were trying to communicate. In the heart of the medina. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.

Nothing much special
I went there just to see a museum but its only 10 mad, so cheap and if you like music then you will like the museum. Also you can see ancient jewellary, wood work. And it's worth to see.
