    Gorgeously preserved palace structure
My friends and I visited Bahia Palace with the local guide hired by our tour company. We started the day at the Saadian Tombs, then Badi Palace, and finally, Bahia. Saving the best for last! Bahia Palace was full of gorgeously decorated ceilings and stained glass windows. We took a lot of photos, posed and otherwise. We learned about the levels of wives and concubines kept within the palace until the late 20th century. One cool feature was the artisan restoration work ongoing within the palace. Our guide helped us negotiate for small ceramic tile stars with each of our initials on them. We felt like we contributed to the restoration efforts!

    A must for architecture fans!
This is a beautiful building and a must for anyone into architecture. The tiling and colours are gorgeous, there is a small bit of history plaques but worth booking a guide if you can. Lots of chances for beautiful photos and secret hidden rooms to cool down in. We had a lovely time but it was very busy so would recommend going after 1PM once all the tour crowds have left for lunch.
