Pleasantly surprised

The Ourika valley situated at a short distance from Marrakesh 60 km. While traveling along the Ourika valley you will enjoy beautiful landscapes, from walnuts, wiping willow and poplar trees, to its mountains and rocks varying in color from red to green.

    Pleasantly surprised
So our trip was in dec, the morning temperature is very chilly. The afternoon however was very nice . We booked a trip with Laurastimetravel. Which included the transportation, a guide to was us to the waterfall and lunch in a restaurant by the river . All in it was a good experience. Great views and good food .

Was okay, but every stop we were expected to buy something.
Small bus tour from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley waterfalls, stopped a few times on the way there, very much pressured to buy somehting though... A clay pottery, a Berber House,a Cooperative Medical centre, and a pleaseant lunch on the River (monkeys come down to look for food). Waterfall Guide was excellent and born in local village so full of knowlwedge. Very steep and a little dangerous climb in some paces, you definitely need to ahve a level of fitness to do this one. Views were good, waterfall a little underwhelming. You stop at a high level cafe for a drink before proceeding up to next level. There are come locla traders on the trail who are just too pushy, and try to sell exactly the same tat that you have already bought in Marrakech. We were collected at 9am and got back to hotel around 7pm, so a very long day - not sure if worth the time it took out of our trip to be honest. Was okay, but not amazing.
