Great service in a calmer area of the city
Having read some very funny but horrific reviews of a traditional Hammam in Marrakesh we decided on something a little less brutal. We emailed directly to enquire and got a quick reply to confirm a booking. The day arrived and with some trepidation we turned up. Rang the bell and were bussed in to reception. We were shown to the changing room given a locker a robe and disposable slippers & knickers that made us laugh out loud We were then taken together to a treatment room which thank the lord had dim lighting as before we knew it we were both naked with the exception of the knickers we had been given. Laying on hot tiled beds with a soft yoga mat and small pillow we were slathered with the eucalyptus black soap and left to relax in the steaming heat of the room. Our therapist then came back and after we showered off (one at a time) she started the scrub process. It was vigorous & a little uncomfortable but could be endured. We then showered again and were treated to a rose scented moisturiser. Relaxed again then another shower & hairwash this time and finally a hydrating oil and final rinse under the shower before being wrapped in our robes & slippers and lead upstairs to an elegant room with huge comfy white sofas, we were served tea and water and told to relax for as long as we wanted. We stayed there until we dried off under our robes and were ready to get dressed and face the streets again. All in all we once we got over the shock of being naked together we enjoyed the experience in this modern clean and welcoming spa. It’s just along the road from the Secret Garden and the Musee des confluences where you will find the amazing 1910 Bacha Coffee cafe. This area is also much calmer that the souks off the main square with many Riads open as small shop units. Thoroughly recommend spending a few hours in this area.

Sublime intoxicating Morracon Hamman.
Amazing hidden gem. A lambrinth of authentic, traditional Morracon wellness and self indulgent treatments. Myself and my girlfriend visited 3 times and experienced the Tour of Morocco package and everytime our visit was heavenly. In particular we would like to recommend and thank Ghizlam and Fatima for amazing massages, Naima and Fatima for the Hamman and Fatima Zahna on reception.
