    A hidden gem!
This place is a little gem hidden in a backstreet but well worth a visit. The building is among the most beautiful in Marrakesh with a spectacular ceiling on the 2nd floor that took our breath away. The museum shows different types of rug and how they are made and it’s an easy stroll through the exhibits. There’s a pleasant courtyard to enjoy and the best thing about this place is how quiet it is there, we almost had the place to ourselves. What a contrast to the Bahia Palace which was heaving and not quite as pretty.

    Nice Museaum worth the visit
Visited here as part of our walking tour of Marrakesh. The architecture is stunning with brightly coloured mosaics covering every surface of many of the rooms in the same way as at the Bahia Palace. The museum itself shows off the history of local carpet and textile manufacture. The courtyard has some seating which was a pleasant area to have a short rest.
