What amazing first day of 2020 !

The bus pickup us at the hotel and we drove towards different villages in direction to Inmil. There, walking into the mountain to a waterfall with a beautiful site seeing and trough typical villages. Our guide, Lachguer Driss, was amazing, he lives in the local and was very pleased to show us his villages and how his people live. After the lunch (very good Tagine) we were invited by Driss to go visit his family home.There he served us mint tea and we met his family. I personally learn how to made a real mint tea. We ended the day visiting woman’s argan oil cooperative where we learned how they made products and they offered us more tea. Before we came back to hotel we went to a camel ride on sun set. This trip is really great value for money and highly recommend Driss as a guide.

Toubkal made as easy as can be
Great experience! The guide was very helpful and communicated throughout. The food was good and warm, the mule helped carry some items, and the refuge was quite comfortable and indoors, with no tents, sleeping bags, or pillows needed. The hike was definitely challenging, since there is not much time to acclimatise. A head torch is needed for the day of the summit, and make sure to bring water and snacks or money to buy water and snacks on the mountain.
