Quaint bookstore just in front of the Do Your Thing Coffee-Breakfast store
On some level I expected Marfa to entertain me but rather I just had to wait for it to unfold like a flowering cactus. The bloom is amazing because of where it is -- but if compared to other flowers I would have missed the point. This book store is a solid book store in an attractive space. Like others have said there is also some pottery, art, and music. They had a very solid young adult fiction shelf. (we found the next "Under Wildwood" book in the series. It was the man and his sweet dog that made the experience for us. We got several books about Marfa and it's history while speaking with him about the town and playing with his adorable dog. The "Do Your Thing" Coffee shop behind the bookstore (really around the corner) is a great place to sit and look at your new purchases.

Nice place to relax, rest your feet, and browse awhile.
We stopped in on an unusually cold day for April, Some of your party wanted to explore Marfa more, others just wanted to rest and get out of the cold. The Book company allowed us just that. They have a very interesting selections of books, and helpful staff despite the fact that many people are just browsing, doesn't seem to bother them. There is a coffee shop attached, so you can sit in the lounge and relax. I think there was a restaurant also, but we didn't explore that.
