Tiny but fascinating!
This is a tiny museum in a historic house. Lots of really cool antiques and collections. Friendly worker. Free! We learned a bit of history about the area and appreciated the stop.

Nice little museum
This is a nice little museum focusing on local history. Native American artifacts, pioneer tools, photos and a friendly and informative docent. Open hours are limited so check ahead. Parking is no problem. Interesting house the museum is inside. The visit is free but donations accepted.

"Small, Intimate and Captures the history of Presidio County"
Well worth your time to visit this museum when in Marfa. Many long-term families in the area have donated a rich history of photographs and historical items providing the visitor with a glimpse into the long history of Marfa and Presidio County. What attracted me from reading the guide books, and being a photographer, were the hundreds of old images in this museum. Admission is free, yet suggest you provide a small donation on upon your exit. The volunteers are very conversational and friendly. A special featuring Presidio County will be on PBS April 17, 2015 too.
