This is a small private roasting operation. Call ahead to reserve a tour - $20/person, includes a pound of your choice of coffee to take with you. The owner & operator take time to explain and demonstrate the roasting process, and all about each of the many imported beans they use. No added flavors or spices here, this is the real deal - top quality coffee beans, brewed alone or blended together for special effects. If you like coffee you will love this place!

The Best Coffee Bar None
I was introduced to BBCR Dark Skies coffee last April and was hooked for life. I have also tried their Davis Mountain Blend, which is also excellent. We visited BBCR in Marfa whilst en route to McDonald Observatory. It was great to see where the magic happens. Although they had finished roasting for the day and there was not any more tours that day, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, answering our questions. BBCR also uses part of the proceeds to support their local community. For instance, Dark Skies supports the McDonald Observatory. We bought seven pounds of coffee to take home. Yum!

Pretty cool
Got there close to closing time, but everyone was more that accommodating and friendly. The owner was there and was super cool. Great place with some awesome coffee. We have almost used up what we bought, so luckily they've got a website to make purchases.
