Ballroom Marfa is an art gallery and masterwork container and enabler in the West Texas desert. The clean white unassuming building holds art worthy of the best museums in the best places. Of course, nearly everyone who has ever been to Marfa, Texas knows that it IS one of the best places. Admission is free, closed Monday/Tuesday, open 10-6 Wednesday through Saturday, 10-3 Sunday. In addition to the gallery on the main drag in town, Ballroom Marfa also supports other installations like the Prada store which is actually 30 miles down the road just south of Valentine. Go there.
