Cool Cave; Completely Incompetent Staff
Buy your ticket before you go!!!! The staff there are beyond incompetent, lazy, who all need to wear helmets (welcome to Chile). We had one hour at the cave, 35 minutes checking in to register, re-register, connect to wifi, download forms, document and ID exchanges, bank transfers for payment because cash is useless, etc. all for a giant hole in the rock... We like caves, so we found it of interest. The giant main cave and the medium cave were awesome, skip the small one. Not worth it.

Cave tour
I had a great experience at the cave, but I would really suggest taking a guide. There is so much to learn about this amazing place that having someone knowledgeable really made the experience more enjoyable. I booked my tour with Tomas from X-plore Patagonia and highly recommend you do the same. He was genuinely excited to share his knowledge of the cave and all of the animals found in the area. You will love Milodon cave and Tomas!

Visit all three caves!
There’s 3 caves you can visit. We visited the main one first, which was really nice and interesting, but didn’t take much time (30-40 minutes or so). The day after we came back for the hike to the other 2 caves, which we really enjoyed. It took us about 2,5 hours and there’s some very nice views and beautiful nature. We only ran into one other group on this hike, so a good way to escape the crowds that visit the main cave as well.
