Great place to spend a week-end away form Manila
Philippines have 7107 islands, so starting with 100 hundred is a good start! And, yes, there are about 100 islands in the park. The snag is a long drive from Manila, at least five hours, and with bad traffic almost six. It is best to stay on the Bolo beach so you are only a stone throw form boats which organize for a very modest price (1400 pesos for a boat for two people) island hopping tour. Absolutely avoid weekends when thousands of students and other tourists come to spend a day on the archipelago. We ent during week.end but a knowledgeable boatman can even then find an island where you can swim with no-one else (e.g. Shell island). Make sure you get a boatman sho speaks at least some modest English or someone who will give precise instructions of what you want to do

    Best Experience
Because of my moms boss we had a chance to see how beautiful this place is and we never regret the experience. Local food is 100% good plus the tourist guides are very patient. Each island has a different experience that make us enjoy the place, plus its really an instagramable place because of the blue sky and clear sea water. 1night is not enough to explore hundred Islands and I wish that soon I would bring my mom here again along with the rest of my family.
