    Texas wine worth drinking.
This wine is spectacular. After living in Texas for 20+ years, only in the last two years or so have I discovered any drinkable wine made here. Comanche has a good winery, as do Brownwood and Fort Davis, but I think McPherson's may be the best in the state; it could definitely hold its own with California wines. Forget the Hill Country--Lubbock/West Texas is where the good Texas wine lives.

    Nice place in Lubbock
Had a very good visit at this winery. The staff is very pleasant and gave our group good wine recommendations to try. They have a very nice outside patio that has great shade and fans to keep the air circulating. The inside is also very pleasant and has small tables to sit at as well as a few couches if you have larger parties that wish to sit as a group. They do serve food although we didn't eat there. I would have given 5 stars with the exception that each time we ordered we had to follow up with the server to complete our service! We ordered and paid, she indicated that she needed to go get more wine, and disappeared. Had another server come along and she poured our wine immediately! Then ordered bottles to go and the same server we ordered from had to be tracked down to give us the bottles even though we were sitting right in from of her. Never had that type of experience before with a server.
